the bridge SUCKS!!!! route step with a stomach full of chow blows. And that 5.7 was a cake walk for you in second Plt., but being the the last candidate at the end of the company in 3rd, we RAN those 5.7 the whole way. lol, it's all good though.

it's not just the weight, but also if your arms are long. the longer your arms are the more distance you're going to have to move that weight. And since taller guys tend to have longer arms AND weigh more, they tend to have probs.

what happens in that time between OCS and TBS (for the OCC guys)? I know you don't get paid in between the end of OCS and TBS, but do you fall under military care since you have accepted your commission?

So, does this massive push for air mean there are going to be very few ground slots? No offense to you guys but that thought worries me a bit.

They only thing that I can think of is that it would probably be easier if you knew for sure what you wanted before applying, instead of trying to make up your mind between the two after applying. But it's normal to be confused, just be sure to do your research. Good luck with everything.

I think what Lugginjugs is trying to say is that there are no off days at OCS. You just get a 24 hour (max) liberty when the Sgt. Instructors so feel inclined. As far as routine I can't tell you since I haven't been there yet, but as I understand it, it involves being tired all the time, lol...

I had it in August...the first three days were torture for me while that outer later grew back, after that some days you'd see better than others. My eyes stabalized at 20/15 after 3 months and they've been there since. PM me if you've got any questions.

It's East and West of the Mississippi as far as I've heard. It's what makes the most sense and what would give the board the best spread of applicants for OCS.

yeah, it was our "punishment" for not doing well in that first circuit. We went and did that circuit again in the afternoon and did much better...my favorite part was wiping the floor with those Navy guys who were trying to keep up..lol
