If you don't like the yelling from the instructors, just turn the ICS down to where it sounds like they're talking normally. That usually works well. Then, you can reply in a calm manner and focus more on your flying.

Try pressing your chin on your chest, and do a slow clap under the water at the same time. This pushes your back up and out of the water, thus allowing you to float. I just passed WS-6 (Full gear tread/float) today, and it helped me. Just remember to stay calm when you have all that gear on...

Yeah, I remember that qualify day. It was funny because a female in our OCS class NEVER has even picked up a handgun before, and she got Sharpshooter!!!!! Funny as hell, because her score was even higher than the Seal in our class. She was going CEC too to top it off. Don't ask me..........
