Another question is this: On the chain of command i downloaded it says do not memorize the sentence form, that we will be given a way to memorize it without the sentence form? Those of you that have been, do i need to know the sentence form?

My opinion is being a minority is a plus because they are looking for a little diversity. Race, color, or creed do not matter qualifications do. If you are qualified and a minority, i think it looks good......

Mine took about 8 months. Thanks for the reply. I was not professionally reccomended I have been selected for SNA, but that is all I know. This is coming from my recuriter and i have not got a letter of acceptance or OCS yet. (kn) yes that helped alot....later

No GPA is low, I got a SNA on Feb 03, with a 2.9. Granted I have my poop together in other areas if you know what I mean. Good luck

My opinion is this. PRK will work, because it is working now and has worked in the past. Give the Navy time and Prk'ers will be just as regular as non's. They know they are missing half the gene pool, after all our generation grew up eye to eye with viedo games. Patrick SNA pre OCS and PRK

After the grime app. process and getting the word that you are one of the lucky, whats next? I have not got my OCS date yet and i found out on Feb. 13th. that i was selected for SNA. Needless to say i spend about a month fighting a medical issue but i'm cleared and good to go. My recuriter says...

Of course you have a chance, I got in a couple of months ago when it was slim pickins for SNA slots and my gpa was 2.9. Other qualities i have came through, so will yours and anyone elses.

Look in the jobs or careers section of any credited bookstore like Barnes and Noble. Just last night I saw a book that could help times 10,000 other things like how to interview and deal with aps.

Great idea, don't settle for anything till you know there is no chance. At least you know you can have your second choice, so go for the first, till they say no chance.

Guys I have an SNA slot. Getting ready to go for a second hearing test. They had some poblems with the first. i.e. loss of hearing. If i don't do well I will lose my slot. I need info on how to pass and get my hearing to top standards. What are the standards and if you say go the the NOMI site...

I had the surgery BEFORE my package was sent in. I had to due to the waiver. The surgery must come first. Or that is the way I understand it. It does make since that way. Patrick

I'm a PRK guy, who just got in as a SNA. Things are real slow now, so it didn't seem to hurt my ap. I just had to jump through a few hoops. L:ike getting a waiver, its not a problem.

I ahd PRK at 24 and just got selected for SNA in FEB. That was about 7 months after the surgery. I would get the surgery now. The reason being it makes you more marketable for both. Also if there were any complications with the surgery (rare) you would not have wasted any time at OCS or TBS to...

SNA slot as of 2/13. Recuriter does not have the particulars yet. I need some kind of guesstimate form thosse of you who could have a good hunch. Those who would like to reply what was your wait like? Regaurdless i know I'm in for a wait so I'm learning patience as of today.....thanks

Yes, both are mandatory I would say. One may help more then the other for certain sections, I thought the Marine study guide was very much like the actual test. Good luck
