I think I'd have to go with the B1-B Lancer. Fast, maneuverable, and a hell of a payload[8D]

F8F Bearcat, it set a time to climb record for single engine piston aircraft in the 1950's. It flew off the carrier and hit 10000' in 91 seconds. Impressive to say the least.
