Exactly. You won't wear a white shirt until after RLP, so you can wear the issued ones if you want, but it might be nice to have some better quality stuff. Definitely not something you need to bring in the first day.

If you have a PPL or higher, you will skip IFS. IFS students are issued Jeppesen texts including the question bank and use their online training for ground school.

I have Cox now with no problems. Downstream speeds stay high regardless of time of day. You could try AT&T to see if they have the "U-Verse" service at your place, but it's still just cable internet, not fiber optic.

I was in the same boat. Runron has it right, just print out an extra middle page. You have to tell them everything that's left before you complete your degree. As long as you're < 36 months out for tech or < 24 for non-tech, you're eligible.

You'll be allowed to leave the school after last duty on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The amount of time you actually get to spent away will vary week-to-week. Things like ROTC training, major inspections, and punishments eat up your weekends quickly. I should note, you'll seldom be allowed to...

I had that "sense" once about four years ago...it goes away. Fortunately it will return after a few weeks when you can leave the "bastion of antiquity" to discover the fun that is to be had just a few miles from your white-walled prison. You'll regret it, but only for four years. :)

Agreed. 4 weeks is not really anything get nervous over. I was pro-rec in January, final select shortly thereafter, but didn't swear in until March.

Bug your OR incessantly. He shouldn't have a week where you haven't called him at least once. After you get your final select and swear in, you can lay off a little.

Concur, put current courses through graduation on it. If there are only 5 semesters of space, print an extra page. Word to the wise: be careful what you write on the form and probably try to be a little generalized. I'm in the middle of getting a new one approved just because the exact course...
