I actually just received the news...I’m one of those unlucky bastards. Had a November OCS date and got the call that I’m now in a January class...I’m clueless as to how this is happening.
My guess is people rolling at OCS. The 06 September class had 4 people roll into ours for ROM, and there were 12 in the previous class. Thats just for covid, let alone rolling for failures on stuff.

Yikes. Which November class were you in?

Also was told “29NOV20.”

Is that start of indoc or start of ROM? My recruiter has been very vague on this.

That is start of INDOC, we will be arriving 15 days prior on Saturday Nov 14th and check in Sunday Nov 15th for 2 weeks of ROM, and then start INDOC 14 days later on Nov 29th.

I still don't have a date and I've had a lot of stuff going on and now really need to know SOMETHING so I can make a decision on my living situation. The arrangement I made for "probably until June" can still work for "probably until October" but not "probably sometime in 2021."

Can anyone get their recruiter to tell them how many classes out are filled? I cannot get my recruiter to just ask about how far out the female slots are filled up. Seems like even if they can't say when, they could at least tell us when we definitely aren't going.

Like I said, I need to know asap so I can...you know...live my life

The only people that would truly know is a few people at NRC, there are a few moving parts, so while the system online may indicate openings there are a few things you won't know such as, are those spots filled but not yet entered in the system, are those spots set aside for IWC or Supply, or another designator. These are all things a typical recruiter will not have access to and often will not have know the right person to find out that info.
