So they're still gullible idiot criminals but didn't have an organized plan for the stupidity they ended up doing that day, got it.
Yeah, just your good old-fashioned, spur of the moment, no prior planning insurrection.

I’m sorry, not an insurrection anymore. Just some good old-fashioned, spur of the moment, no praise planning domestic terrorism.

Both still fit, both are still serious crimes and both are still incredibly stupid acts to commit. Still can't fix stupid but at least you can make people pay a price for being that stupid.

Check out Afghanistan. That is an insurrection.

Look at what Antifa has been doing in Portland for the past year and a half. That is domestic terrorism.

And, your point? Are you trying to excuse or somehow minimize what the morons, idiots and assholes who stormed the Capitol on 6 January did or are you just doing it for the sake of arguing? Whataboutism perhaps?

Forcibly storming the seat of government, assaulting and beating scores of cops to get in and then bragging about 'stopping the steal' easily fits the definitions of both an insurrection and domestic terrorism. Those losers who committed those crimes that day are slowly but surely facing the consequences of their actions, as they should.

Public Service Announcement!

If you want to do your part in putting away the "individuals who made unlawful entry into the U.S. Capitol building and committed various other alleged criminal violations, such as destruction of property, assaulting law enforcement personnel, targeting members of the media for assault, and other unlawful conduct, on January 6, 2021" then you can take a look at people wanted by the FBI for their actions that day at:

I posted an article about it. You're the one who responded to that article. You could’ve just not read it and/or not commented on it, but you did. So it sounds like YOU are the one who was actually trying to make a point and/or start an argument. Your whataboutism is showing again.

I thought this thread was about losers, idiots, assholes and morons who broke the law on January 6th, plan or no plan, by gullibly believing they could do something about the election by storming the Capitol?

But hey, squirrel!

@Flash, January 6th was not an insurrection, and there was no pre-planned coordination by DJT or anyone else. All of this according to the FBI. Oh, and the only one killed was a Veteran, shot by a Capital Police officer

Just like those gullible idiots who thought this was some grand, preplanned scheme?

Surely, that wouldn’t be you...

Call it what you want, hundreds of folks broke the law that day by violently storming the seat of our government to overturn a lawful election. There is no excusing and no reasonable explanation for what those criminals did that day. Period, full stop.

As for the person killed, as I explained shortly after it happened her and several others were literally making smashing way through barricaded doors that were the last physical barrier between the mob and members of Congress as they were being evacuated. Nothing else had stopped them as they stormed the Capitol, deadly force was the last option at that point and a reasonable one. All of it caught on film as it happened by several folks.

The Capitol Police screwed up that day but they did their primary job well in the end, protecting the Members of Congress and the civilians who were supposed to be in the Capitol January 6th.

They killed somebody unarmed. Good job! They should be given medals. Oh wait, they were given medals a week or so ago.. And Creepy Joe couldn’t stop touching the kids at the Ceremony.

When did I say or claim that?

Maybe you can ask the Oath Keeper idiots and the Proud Boy losers who have been indicted, and in some cases already pleading guilty, to conspiracy for their role in the violence on January 6th if they had any plans that day?

Plenty of 'unarmed' jackasses on January 6th injured scores of police, having violently smashed their way through the doors behind the House Chamber what exactly was the mob's intent with Members of Congress? Thankfully due to the bravery of the Capitol and Metropolitan Police Departments we did not have to find out.

No one can really "call it what you want". If you call it anything but an insurrection or attempted coup or assault on the Constitution or any other loaded extreme description, you are accused of giving the rioters a pass or making excuses for them. No in between. You suggested excuse making above. Other than that, agree with the rest of your post.

No Flash, there were minor trespassing crimes committed that day, no insurrection, no Trump conspiracy, the FBI is being forced to admit publicly, this was not what the MSM tried to hype it up to be. Were there knuckleheads who did stupid things? Sure, but there were also a whole bunch of American Patriots that were trying to send a message to their elected representatives that have become increasing disenfranchised with their government. Don’t believe me? Look at the charges being levied against those taken into custody. Your emotional hyperbole does not match the facts.
