I'd argue that BASE jumping is quite safe done properly. Not the way I interpreted it. We may be splitting hairs on this, but my take is hey, I can ride in a helicopter all day long and be safe and sound. The mere act of riding in a helo isn't unsafe. Make a mistake (leave that nut in the FWU)...

If you're training for the PFT, you might consider doing longer distance, higher intensity sprints than a 150. I.e., run 400's or even 800's as the interval sprints instead of a 150. The 150's will help though, so you don't necessarily have to stop those. I'm gonna go out on a limb here...
