Well, if you've got the money, Bose are the way to go. For my whole 30 hours in a Cessna it was all David Clarks except for the one flight where I got to try a pair of Bose. I loved the DC's but man are the Bose nice, and this was three years ago. I hear they have even better models out now.

I think your biggest problem would be finding a tow trailer to haul all of your stuff. For a 5k net load you'd need a really big pull trailer with all the accessories. Most companies like Uhaul don't rent that big, but if you look at commercial companies you may be able to lease a trailer...

I did a one year NPS degree, took an average of 16 credit hours per quarter. That wasn't too bad, but that was an in-house degree, so that would probably suck if I'd done it on the side.

The way I like to look at it is with proper care a gun will last a lifetime, literally, so if you divide that $700-800 for a new H&K by the next 80 years, that's only about $10 a year. Pretty cheap in my opinion!

The way Pensacola Aviation is running it now is they let you take the class/test anytime you want, even before winging. You pass, finish up the syllabus and then take your logbook back to them and they process your licenses. Makes it easier instead of having to worry about it after winging.
