Sure you're not looking under Applications instead? It'll show up as firefox.exe under Processes. If it isn't... that's just wierd.

Usually happens when some other plugin crashes (can happen with Windows Media Player plugin) or FF gets unstable for some reason. Easy fix. CTRL-ALT-DEL, kill Firefox from the process list, launch it again. Fixed.
