My 60th b-day is in a few days…please gift me more FLY NAVY bumper stickers…

You must have an older vehicle because a lot of those things are standard on a lot of vehicles today. I have read Ford has some of the best cooled seats in the auto industry. I have a Toyota 4Runner with the Softex seating (an artificial leather-like material but more robust than real leather)...

Toyota already has a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle in the Mirai. I've read a problem though is when refueling, the fuel pump is COLD because the hydrogen is liquid of course. What are you referring to when you say water vehicles kill 100% of their inventors?

Mr. Chuck, the problem with your logic here is you can take that to an extreme where people never get out of bed in the future as it is too dangerous, as we will have robots to take care of us. And no more cooking your own food, or eating it, as special nutrient/calorie pills can be issued to...

Yeah, the Chargers just don't have the impression of authority the way the Crown Vic did. Up here in Western NY, it's Ford Explorers and Chargers as the main police vehicles. So anytime you see an Explorer, you wonder if it's a cop. One thing I do wonder is in cities where they have police cars...

Do you ever notice people driving more "appropriately" around your car, because they think you might be like an unmarked police car?

    Marksmanship

I understand that, but there is a difference between being an actual bad person versus being say a jerk. Cocky a-holes who aren't unethical but just are jerks I can see becoming Special Ops, but I just had the impression most were otherwise moral/ethical people.

Curious, is your Ford Interceptor a vehicle from your time as a policeman that they let you keep or did you acquire it from elsewhere?

I am guessing that is for Naval Special Warfare, in which case, nope. Sad to learn if the SEALs have a problem with unethical members.

    Marksmanship

So was this guy really guilty or was he railroaded? I know the book he wrote to defend himself explains he is innocent and the "Alpha" book explains he's guilty. The innocent story says the SEALs who turned him in were low-ranking "woke" millennials who were jealous and just didn't like him...

    Marksmanship

No, but it surprises me less if a lawyer politician gets caught doing something bad then if a SEAL does (or at least it did). So I mean I am (or was) more expecting of good behavior from the SEAL.

What if you view not compromising as how you get what's best for your constituents?
  17. R

    Marksmanship

Well I don't mean anyone should get an actual pass on ethics, just that I would expect the SEAL to be a better person. Like if a politician is a lawyer and gets caught doing something crooked, I will probably think, "Well that's typical," whereas if a SEAL is caught doing it, then I find it more...
  18. R

    Marksmanship

Well I would presume a SEAL, on average, would be a person of higher ethics than the average person. Guess I am mistaken on this.
  19. R

    Marksmanship

Yes, I hold people like SEALs though to a higher ethical standard compared to your average politician.

    What are you reading?

Kindle is awesome, and you can get some great deals on it, books that cost $20-$30 physical sold for $1.99-$2.99 in Kindle deals, books that cost $150+ physical but which are $50-$60 Kindle, but physical books are still very important in my opinion.

Hmm...so...on paper, this guy seems stellar: Naval Academy graduate, Navy SEAL, Bronze Star and Purple Heart winner, founder of an aerial firefighting business and now worth anywhere from $70-$200 million, and all by the age of 38. However, his story about the .45 is screwy. But also, my...

! I do not for the life of me understand these a-holes who tailgate. I mean what the hell do they think is going to happen if the person in front has to slam the brakes? They're going to smash right into them. Yet people do it at 70+! I do not generally hold traffic or vehicles up though...

There is an argument that that has been the government and corporate interests' goal since the late 1800s. That was why the public education system became based off of the Prussian system, which was excellent at producing soldiers and employees, and why the public school system had the bell...

One nitpick, but the Constitution doesn't grant anything as far as natural rights go, it protects what are pre-existing rights. The Founders themselves saw the Bill of Rights as redundant even, because the Constitution doesn't grant the Federal government the power to infringe upon such rights...

    Europe under extreme duress

Me too. I mean if there is ANY country you don't want to be caught in for such an act, it's Russia. You get to first experience the nice treatment of the Russian authorities then get to go live in the Russian prisons:confused:

Also the Ukrainians aren't out to just murder innocent Russians. Striking a Russian civilian target with no military value makes no sense and if anything would rally the Russian people to continue fighting Ukraine.

The U.S. had apparently warned the Russians that a major Moscow attack was coming weeks ago. The U.S. embassy in Moscow warned Americans there to get out. So the Russians had advance warning.

    Naval Aviations "One" Problem...

So genuinely curious about this, but would that be smart though? A lot of it seemed kind of pointless as far as much of the Russian shelling went, other than that they didn't know what else to do.
