@NavyOffRec could you please elaborate? By next FY, do you mean now or 2020?

I ask because my OR said that regardless of which designator I choose (I applied to two), I should expect the 03MAR class.

Since we are in FY 19 the next FY would be 20, if I didn't correctly @RUFiO181 will correct.

I would be surprised you could get into the 3MAR class, if the board meets on the 19th, expect 1-2 weeks before results, so best case results arrive on the 26th, that allows 3 working days to get FINSEL, and book flights.

I don’t mind waiting until FY 20 as long as I obtain the pro rec along with a FINSEL, not the first time the Navy made me waited a year to ship out.

Just want to motivate those still working for selection. As a disclaimer my situation is a little rare so don't expect everything to work the same for you. But u never know! So stay encouraged! The main goal is to get your application in. Work with the OCS processors to make sure everything is complete and forwarded to the board..........I submitted my package last year in September and missed the following board because my package needed additional material (1 of my transcripts wasn't official). Fixed the issue and thought I would have to wait until the Feb board but was surprised when I got the news in Jan that I was selected on the RANDOM unscheduled Dec board. My command was willing to let me transfer early and I was placed in the Feb OCS class.........Quick right? I know. Maybe there was a little luck on my side........However, there are a lot of factors that go into getting selected but focus on what you can control. Submitting your package is number 1. While you wait for the board and results keep working to improve your package. Good luck.

**Oh and by the way for those who want to know, even though I am active duty enlisted I submitted an age wavier/memo request on command letter head just to be safe.

I'm a little confused, on the google doc with the Feb board applicants there are already people with Pro Rec Y. I thought this happened at the board?

A fifth board was added in DEC and we were all selected from that! If you search back a few pages you will find when that happened I think it was 13DEC. Did you apply?

No I'm in for the Feb board and was super confused as to how some had already been selected but this clears it up, thanks!

so, I got selected, Pro-Rec Y in Dec board. while everyone already had their final select, mine is still just one Y, is it because I also apply for other board (SWO-EDO) and they are waiting for that result?

I don't believe everyone has FS letter, sounds like to me they are starting to roll in!

Hey guys,

Question: SWO board has "rolling admissions" Meaning if you turn in the package after the due date your package will still be reviewed at the next board?

Thank you

When I met with my recruiter on Wednesday (2/6), she received a call saying if she had any additional packages to send for this board. Apparently they didn't have enough and are still accepting 2 weeks after the due date. I don't know about previous boards, but at least for this one as long as you submit before the convene date it will be reviewed.

I find this interesting because when I called the fleet processor a week ago to verify if my package was received. He told me that my package probably wouldn't make it to the board and I submitted before the application due date.

Hmm that is interesting, I wonder if they have to have a certain amount of Nonprior to AD applicants for each board.

Maybe that has something to do with it, but I'm really hoping I make this board. It would suck if I have to wait until the May board.
