For all the prior service members, did you guys write a separate memorandum for an age waiver for the SWO board? I wrote a request on the 1420.1b application in the personal statement for statement 3.

I created a separate memo for the age waiver after being directed to do so by the fleet processor. I strongly recommend always asking them directly. I'd hate to tell you what worked for me and have your application delayed because of outdated info.

I applied to the October board, at 33 years old. When I talked to the program manager early on in the application process he told me that SWO was the only program that didn't require an age waiver before the board. Later, when I submitted the application the fleet processor told me that my application couldn't be accepted without an age waiver. I called the program manager back, and he assured me that the age waiver wasn't necessary and talked to the fleet processor on my behalf. I was selected, without submitting the age waiver.
In short, I wouldn't worry if you didn't submit the memo.

I submitted my package for this board and its been delivered, but hasn't been forwarded. Hoping I don't miss the board, tried to contact the fleet processor and getting no response. Any suggestions?

OAR - 44 (waiver due to good evals)

My OR submitted to the processor on Jan 18, just waiting for it to be forward. Not sure if it will make it to this board.

My score isn’t competitive but it seems like there has been a demand for SWOs with the urgent board convening and early pro recs being issued out so I have my fingers cross.

There was a post I remember seeing but can't find right now where @RUFiO181 had mentioned that due to the amount of SWO's and the backlog they were holding them from going to OCS until those classes that would commission in the next FY

@NavyOffRec could you please elaborate? By next FY, do you mean now or 2020?

I ask because my OR said that regardless of which designator I choose (I applied to two), I should expect the 03MAR class.
