You bet, but you do have Horono Maine, not a bad place to start before you jump over the pond to Norway.
Just to add, DO NOT get married, get serious, prior to at least one overseas deployment. DO NOT DO IT. Go to Australia single.........this is good advice gents. I never got the gouge and though I had a great time in Perth and Sydney, it could have been way, way better.

Maybe...but remember that Australian men put their women at least third behind beer and mates, which is why WestPac is such a good deal for all the guys. At the very least make the civilian boyfriend do some sort of outdoorsy manly activity in your absence, so as to become swarthy and therefore worthy of your affection.

Judging from the attractiveness level of your average female Navy chick, said boyfriend can almost certainly do better and should consider an upgrade.

Well...being the gf at one point...I say leave her at home. There are MANY reasons behind this advice. My husband (bf/fiance) at the time were separated for 6 months for his training and it was beneficial for him and me. He really needed to focus on things up there and the last distraction he needed was me lol. Oh yea and if you're thinking about marriage...you might want to take your time on that thought, especially if she thinks she might want a wedding...putting that and flight school on your plate will be STRESSFUL the least to say.
