Perth, WA has done a good job. They have had a total of 10 deaths. When cases were found in the community. They did a short lockdown during the covid pandemic. Like most states in Australia. They are living a mostly, near normal life.

As the vaccine rate goes up. Sydney NSW and Melbourne Vic. are coming out of lockdown. They are easing restrictions as they go.

So just to be clear, the government limiting the number of people allowed in your home is easing restrictions?

Also, is there unrestricted internet access now for the unwashed masses or is still subject to “interference”?

Internet access? You need to tell me what you are talking about. No doubt it will be some right wing nonsense, from some conspiracy site.

“Between Sept. 20, when the protests began, and Sept. 26, a number of social media websites experienced disruptions in Australia, including Twitter, Reddit and Instagram, according to Downdetector, a website that monitors outages and service disruptions.”

Don’t worry though, the super right wing USA Today rated the claim as “false”. It’s not at all strange that three major social media sites would suffer outages in the same week in just Australia. Just a strange coincidence I guess. Y’all were able to watch the protests live on TV as they were happening, right?

No, there was a one hour delay of the helo broadcasts. It was being used to circumvent police blocks. Other stuff was in real time.

That was a good guess. No doubt the ability exits to shut down sites. It helps feed a conspiracy. Thanks for the link..It seems it's an ongoing thing. They are even shutting down banks.

Whoops!

“McAuliffe, in an op-ed published in the Washington Post in August about defeating the novel coronavirus, wrote that he "will always lead by example," and added that "taking this virus seriously is not a partisan issue it's a leadership test."

McAuliffe has repeatedly posted on Twitter, reminding individuals to wear masks to protect against COVID-19 and to follow CDC guidance.”

JackJack, you're not killing enough people. You need to up your death rate 20-fold to join the winners.

Speaking of winners, how is Florida doing these days? I know we’d all love to hear your expert take about what caused their sudden rapid decline in cases and deaths. Was it the mask mandates, the vaccine mandates, or a combination of the two?

I googled it for you

Glad to see your internet is working, but I was asking the resident expert around here for his opinion.

I don’t know why anyone would be interested in comparing anything to Australia; I know I certainly wasn’t asking about that at all.

I will say, however, that I’m impressed that your citizenry has so eagerly and quickly reverted back to olden times, reliving your country’s earliest days as a prison colony.

Does Australia keep statistics like this? Even now, at a hospital in FL it is disproportionately unvaccinated taking up space in the hospital, in the ICU, using up ventilators, and in the morgue.

After you called out SlickAg’s Australia internet BS, he no longer cares about the land down under…he still deeply cares about New Zealand, Florida, and California though. ?

And @jackjack, stop doing his homework. His questions are mostly rhetorical and need not be answered because he already knows the “truth” (e.g. his firsthand knowledges of Australia losing internet) ?

Wow dude, amazing retort. You ought to move down there and check it for yourself. Seems like you’d fit right in with the rest of the brave people down there in Australia resisting tyranny.

So you disagree that it’s weird and just think it’s a coincidence that Instagram, Twitter, and Reddit all magically suffered major hiccups in Australia (only) during the same week which saw widespread covid restriction protests?

Didn’t ask about vaccinated versus unvaccinated. In no way, shape, or form was that the question. I asked why their case rates, hospitalizations, and deaths are down so greatly despite their lack of vaccine and mask mandates.

Is that rhetorical enough for you @ea6bflyr?
