Precisely, and well said. Someone who downs their last flight and attrites (rare, but it happens) had serious issues beforehand. In MOST cases, it's a good thing they're gone. Note I said "most".

Cross country = bag strike. Covers? No way. The flight suit is high visibility and garners great support from the locals, the Navy needs to authorize it for general wear.

Everyone has their seperate tolerance and days. I've greyed at 3G... I've sustained 6G without so much as a light leg squeeze. I've never hicked that hard at 4.5, that's for sure. What's really funny is watching people do the 7.5G defensive set in the Navy centerfuge.... PAIN. You'd die...

Most Army helo pilots are Warrants. No college degree required... high school to flight school. Army PILOT Warrant Officers do nothing but fly. In 20 years of service they can fly for all 20 years. There is a reason why they're considered some of the best pilots in service...

Love my 9G kneeboard, I got it halfway through Primary, stuck with me through T-45s, to the boat and back, and is with me in the Rhino. Seems to handle 7.5Gs just fine. A4s: Your kneeboard reminds me of what my on-wing had in Primary (Hornet guy).
