Actually, out of Primary a common thing you'll hear is "I'd love to fly the COD, but I don't want to fly E-2s."

Don't be so defeatist. Work work work hard for what you want. True, it's mostly needs of the Navy, but you may just be that good, or as usually is the case, that LUCKY. Accept what you're given to you, but if you want something, work hard for it. Don't ever say "I don't care what I fly". IPs...

Dude... if you get to the Shocker... it'll just get worse too. HUD = primary flight instrument on the Rhino... none of this flying with the ADI up ... you have the HUD and the other displays are for other stuff.... I'm such a cripple.

You gotta look at the photo more carefully. They're forward of the geardoors, I guarantee you they stand taller than them. And looking at the size comparison, it's definitely smaller than a Rhino... might be a little taller, but shouldn't be THAT much taller. Edit: Wiki says (could be wrong)...

An oblique shot doesn't give you a good reference to size. You're getting some lens distortion and whatnot there. Doesn't look much larger than a Rhino considering their heads seem to be about the same position where they'd be on the Rhino.

You forget I'm a pilot too and know this... the stupid switch (mic switch) is really fun doing something dynamic... What I was getting at, and what I think he was looking for, was listening to the UHF at Pcola isn't anything cool. To learn from? Sure... but for listening enjoyment... nothing...
