I know he's been working on this since before Kill Bill, so I have high hopes. From what I hear, you're not supposed to expect a run of the mill WW2 movie. It's supposed to be over the top ala 'Planet Terror' in 'Grindhouse', with blood, guts and decapitations everywhere.

Believe it or not, he was in his late 20's during most of those sketches; he looks/sounds like a kid because of some growth-hormone condition. I know he had a sketch show on MTV2 for a while after TMS went off the air, but I don't recall it being very good.

Saw an interesting documentary on the A-1, on the Military Channel the other day. About 20 minutes into it, there was plenty of Korean War era footage showing the Spad with real deal "live" bombs on its folded wings! Lifting all those bad boys up required plenty of extra Sailor manpower.

I'd say you're good to go. For the Marines the ASTB is more of a check in the box, so as long as you're above the minimums, "it doesn't matter" (the one exception would be if you're competing against a candidate with the exact same package as yours, but with better ASTB scores). I wouldn't...

I'm pretty sure that applies to all contracts, as the Marine Corps has lately been able to consistently attract new bodies well above its recruiting goals. NFO's are eventually going away due to the Marine Corps phasing out the Prowler and transitioning F/A-18D's to the JSF. Mind you this...

Reminds me of something I read in a WWII memoir where a Marine Captain became a Navy Captain, and got his Marines some special treatment.

How hard is it to get exchange tour orders? Are they reserved for more senior guys, or can O-2's/"fresh" O-3's get them also? Also, is it more difficult to get foreign exchange tours as opposed to just with different branches?
