No joy...In my district, ground contracts were the most competitive and were given away months ago. The only way half the people in my office were able to go to 201, was on an air contract.

Got the word the other day that I won't get my FS in time for 201. Looks like it's October for me.

I think his point is that with terrorism there is no one leader, no one army, and no one country we can simply carpet bomb into submission (unlike WW2 or the Cold War for instance).

Word. I work in the City, but strangely I didn't find out about this 'crysis' until just reading this thread (AW - my #1 news source!). I see low-flying airliners all the time, and I've yet to see anyone get phased. Maybe it was the F-16 that caused concern, but still...

What was said above, but you should also work on strengthening the muscles on/around your shins. One way to do that is to 'trace the alphabet' with your feet, few times throughout the day - you can do this anytime, anywhere. Another would be to walk on your heels around your room for 5-10...
