Talk to your recruiter... he (or she) is always your best source of information. As long as you disclose your medical history I would think you're fine - who knows, you might not even need a waiver.

i haven't been there and have no firsthand knowledge, but i would certainly hope that NFO's are given EQUAL respect as pilots. Both are officers and aviators for the world's greatest Navy. NFO's are definitely NOT second class to me.

I'm pretty sure that they meet when they decide to meet and you don't have a way of finding out. At least that's how it was for me when I applied.

Go see your recruiter. There's a form you have to fill out before you can make the change. It's like someone else said earlier, the Navy owns you and you must get permission before you change.
