Much like phrogs in the boneyard, I'd imagine those get picked over for parts in Corpus's old sims. I think about half of them were the old style with monochrome monitors and no GPS/NACWS in the cockpit.

FWIW, NWUs seem popular on duty here for those that have them. The student hate against khakis is immeasurable, myself included. If I can't wear the bag, at least NWUs keep me out of polyester for 12 hours.

Proficiency Sim. In corpus, you had to sign up to use the sim when people weren't scheduled for them. If weren't slots, you were SOL.

It's an option to replace the cardio portion aka the run, as is the ellipitcal, treadmill, or bike. Don't plan on doing it at production sources like OCS. There, everyone runs. Other commands do it if possible. I know in the Corpus VTs, it was an option.

I think the point was that this rifle can provide and adequate volume of fire at the squad level, and do it more accurately than the M249 when that's required.
