Anyone know the time frame between Pro REC Y, class date, and FINSEL?

I hear of some people getting a few weeks from hearing back until reporting for OCS, to around 3 months, or longer if you need it for personal reasons. Varies quite a bit. But I wanna say on average it’s 3 months until going

It varies by applicant / program / timing etc
Can anyone explain to me the security clearance aspect of getting your FINSEL? I called my recruiter just now and was told that I still need to get a fingerprint card (since my MEPS fingerprints expired) and sign the security forms he'll send via email before he can request my FINSEL. All this time I thought all I needed to do was wait for my FINSEL/OCS date and I hear about this now...

I thought the clearance part is done through training and that it just needs to be open/adjudicated?

I don't have much insight besides the same thing happening to me. I just had to get my fingerprints re-done at MEPS and re-sign some paperwork.

Are there any PROREC-Y's on this board who are graduating in May (or later)?

My OR mentioned that ready-to-ship applicants may take priority over later shipping applicants, and that I may have to reapply for a board closer to my earliest shipping date (since I graduate in the spring).

I’m on the October board and I also graduate May 2020 so I guess we will find out together!

Is anybody here keeping a rather keen tally of the selectees for both Pilot and NFO? I'm a bit confused. The spreadsheet lists a total of 41 applicants, but I believe there's like a few more.

So, how many do we have across all categories so far?

I got selected SNA but I never put my name on that spreadsheet. There are a few other guys from our fb group whose usernames I don’t see on there.

The board always selects more SNAs over SNFOs (almost double) but it’s always based on need of the Navy. The board has to pick a higher amount of SNAs knowing that there are platforms that don’t really have NFO (helo - in and of itself a huge community), knowing people drop out and fail pipeline, and knowing people will fail NAMI and be reassigned to NFO or another Officer designator depending on the SNA disqualification.
