As long as you are under 30% there should be no issues, this is something that we have had to put in the applications for quite a while, there is actually a spot on the application you have to initial that says "if you are currently in receipt of disability......"

Thanks for the info NavyOffRec. My recruiters office is in Jax, more like southern GA. Everything is a bit slower down here, including myself!

NavyOffRec - can you clarify? I am SELRES and noted on the APSR I am NOT and have never received any disability compensation. Still need follow the steps P3toP8 notes in post #127? Seems simple enough (thanks for the heads up BTW P3toP8).

Thanks all.

OHNavy - I am in the same boat as you (SELRES and 0% disability compensation) and I was required to obtain this form.

What if you are @ 20%? I had to sign a dual-compensation waiver I think it was called. Do you know if that is the correct form? I am planning to drop my current disability from the VA, and know that I will need a MD's clearance.

Not an issue, in most cases I think trying to drop the disability would be nearly impossible, unless it was a condition that cleared, otherwise you are trying to say the first doc was not correct, but I guess it really depends what the disability was for.

Ah I meant you cannot collect the disability at the same time.

Thanks.

I just wrapped up my last interview today and my recruiter should be sending my package off for Intel/IP. I'm not sure what my chances are but I'll hold out a little bit of hope. This is my first time up and I'll be applying until I reach the age limit if that's what it takes :)

my only question is do they select within regions or as a whole to reach the quotas?

Looks like 17 aspiring officers in my NRD got caught in the spider web of bureaucracy and my now wait till March. Now looking at other options.

Interview #2 tomorrow morning. Looks like I'll be there all day this time as my appointments aren't back to back this time. Very excited. I think my previous interview made me think about how I answered some questions and allowed me to take some time and come up with better ones.

So my recruiter called me today and said that he got a request from Millington to get a copy of my Annual Statement of Service/Point Capture. Im pretty sure I dont have access to it, so he was able to find someone who was able to get it. This is my third time before the IDC board, and I have never been asked for this before. Has anyone else had this request from Millington?

At least now I know my application is at board this time around.

I had to do this as well but, I am SELRES and have access to that info.
