22/M
48 OAR
3.24 GPA University of Georgia - Real Estate major
5 LOR's - 2 former employers, 1 former Navy Officer not sure his rank (family friend), 1 Teacher, 1 Coach
What I thought was a pretty solid motivational statement
Good amount of extra curriculars - UGA Club Lacrosse team 4 years - Intramural Sports - Volunteer Work - Fraternity - High School Sports/Yearbook...

The bad part - got arrested at 18 for MIP and Failure to comply with an Officer - charges dropped after volunteer work and alcohol awareness program

supply could be your saving grace, so keep your head up! If not and you're still around Athens, I might be able to give you some contact info to interview with some current officers. Also, PM me who's your recruiter in Atlanta.

Probably Sept Boards

Whatsup,

It's too late for me to apply for July or even August, so I'm shooting for Sept Boards

SNA/NFO
M/24
2.7 GPA in Business Management, Aviation Management Minor
5'6" 168 10% body fat, college hockey and lacrosse
5 LOR's (State Senator, Professor, Coach, Employer, USAF Colonel)
35 logged hours (not a lot I know)
ASTB 5/6/5/54

Think I have shot at SNA?

I appreciate the positive reinforcement. Just recently moved everything out of my apartment in Athens and working in Atlanta for the summer. My recruiting officer in Atlanta is Warrant Officer Tabb.

Sorry to hear that man, keep your head up. I say go retake that test and aim for a 57 or higher and 7+ across the board. Maybe try to add an interview if you have the time and I you'll be fine. Just keep pushing.

Finally got a hold of my recruiter and he still doesn't have results for me! Anyone else still waiting?

SWO, I would try to call another NRD to see if they can help you. The results have been out for awhile now AND shouldve been uploaded to OTools by this point.

Or call your OR's OPO as they are the ones that get the results emailed to them first.

Good luck man.

HA.

Doctor: "Bend over and spread your cheeks"
Me: "uhhh ok....*laugh to myself*"
Doc: "GOOD!"
Me: ?

Yeah, well. The Dude abides.
Old fat man: Take your papers and put them on top of your folders.
Me: Put my paper on top of my folder.
Old fat man: (grabs my papers first) Jesus, this paper is inverted. I said on top of your folder! (which it was!!!). And you are going to be an officer?
Me: (Bite my tongue)....although I just wanted to say "fuck you."

MEPS is an experience. Try not to laugh too hard when everyone starts bragging about their ASVAB scores like 12 year olds while doing the duck walk. Which I kind of equate to people coming on here and saying "I got a 9/9/8 70 on my ASTB, is that good?" Just shake your head and walk away.

Better, watch every future Enlisted clam the fuck up the second the MEPS CO outs you to the inductees as an officer candidate. Though this one really cute marine suddenly became very interested in the two of us...
