AMDO BOARD FEB 15

Well, let's hope that holds true. I was numerous W/C LPO's, now LCPO, phase and Safe for Flight qualified. Here's to hoping!

Nice, Chief!! I'm the applicant described in my previous post. I can see the writing on the wall, and made the determination that my AMDO package wasn't competitive. 24 Hours until the board meets. I hope everyone can get some sleep tonight!!

Navyhaz (AKA-Justin) I forgot that I did have an account on this page already that I was using for information gathering for this board. Thanks for all the help. So I am an applicant who is ANXIOUSLY awaiting the review board results as many are. My stats:
GPA= 3.1 with a Finance degree
OAR= 57
Experience= 13 years Aviation Maintenance P-3/C-130 covering Avionics
11 years Aicrewman (Loadmaster) C-130
Primary designation= 1520 ONLY selection
LOE= 1 from Captain select and 1 from a local non-profit after developing a their Finance Business Plan Pro-Bono.
ILOE= 2 CDR, 1 LCDR

While I hit all the applicable wickets based on prior year boards, the competition seems incredibly heavy so it goes without saying but, Good Luck to everyone.

Great resume. Here's hoping your 13 years of loyal service, hard work (and consumption of VP TAD $$$ in exotic foreign lands), pays off with a O-1E commission. Aviation Maintenance "GroundPounders" are ALWAYS welcome in, and are an integral part of our Wardrooms, and Pilot Ready Rooms:)

Good luck with your selection board!;)
BzB, prior ET2 (SS)

Good luck to everyone this year I was one of five selected last year so you never know! Expecting results to be out same time as last year...

No, when I left my sub for flight training in 1956, with the exception of USS NAUTILUS (SSN-571), just completed the year before, the rest of the Nuclear Navy was still in the future. Nuclear-powered CVNs were only a dream at that point!:)

No word today?

Checked command level BOL at 1630 EST and nothing. Only thing new was pilot and LDO results. When I see something I'll be sure to post here. NPC is slightly back logged due to the weather issues they had last week. They are about five days behind.
