Ferrari are idiots. Just look at what Corvette has done with EV technology, yet not compromised the spirit of their car. This might as well be a Tesla Model Y. I mean why would you pay $600k for the same car you could get for whatever a Y is (I'm sure it is a fraction of the price, maybe even less than 1/6 of it by now)? And the timing couldn't be worse. The euro market is being flooded with boutique brands, Kimera and HWA (though that one has a direct AMG bloodline) come to mind as direct competitors in the same space. Not to mention the less wholly-new "resto-mod" market. I can get a lot of car for $600k, that is way more fun than some stupid vaguely GT EV coupe. Is it a 2+2 as well? They have a long history of underperforming with that seating arrangement. Sometimes I imagine that these offerings are specifically intended to kill the EV branch of a given company. It seems that several US and euro manufacturers have done just that. Intentional might be conspiratorial thinking, but they are at least underfunded and set up for failure in many cases.
