Planet or not, it’s the coolest thing out there. Hard to believe it is smaller than our moon.

For that matter, moons Ganymede and Titan are both bigger than Mercury. Deceptive.
The National Weather Service says between -370 deg F and -400 deg F.

This launch ended up failing, but not until a couple of minutes into the launch. Something was clearly not quite right from the start, though.

Reminds me of people sneaking out of the room when the boss is reaming somebody.

The rocket driver needs a little more hover practice but should get the hang of it.

Seems it blew an engine right at launch; they probably just kept it going until it departed to get as much telemetry as they could. TWR right at 1 and off-center thrust would make it do the hoverslide until it burned enough fuel to start going up.

Amazing control response to keep it from doing something totally crazy.

It was interesting listening to the YouTube, as the narrator was like, “Well, I guess we’re still flying, next is Max Q”

It’s Saturday, so why not. Hard to believe William Shatner recently turned 90.

He looks quite puffy. Has anyone offered to check his blood pressure? At any rate, it's not hard to imagine that a guy known for having a colossal ego doesn't have the self-awareness to know that he does, in fact, talk like that. :D

If you make it to 90 you can be as puffy as you want.

Thought this was interesting.

Juno finally got close enough to Jupiter’s Great Red Spot to measure its depth
Into the eye of the red storm.

The team thinks the storm reaches to a depth of 300 kilometers, give or take a hundred, with an absolute maximum depth of 500 kilometers. For comparison, weather on Earth happens in the troposphere, which is only about ten kilometers thick.
