My favorite thing about the Super Tucano is that it is apparently shark-mouth-capable
I dont know how they do it in other countries but for our turbo-weenies, the one's that have the shark motif I'm pretty sure denote that they have survived some sort of mishap (i.e. - belly landing, bad bird strike, etc.).
FAC(A) will be a pre-req I'm sure.
What's that saying?schoolbubba said:i think that would limit this to Tacair type
Would this be a dual pilot aircraft, or a pilot and a nfo? Sounds like a fun backseat job![]()
Well, cfam is an SNFO, so that's right up his alley.I can only imagine that the rear-seat crewman is an NFO or enlisted sensor operator. JMHO, of course.
So. . .what are the chances of an enterprising first tour MPRA-type obtaining said qual?
Don't think that you would need to have a FAC-A qual. Purpose of the plane is to support SOF, who will have a JTAC. And depending on what you have loaded, you probably won't be busy down low.
My guess is that this will die -- it will need survivability equipment and high end FLIR system -- probably not in the offering.....
