So I went looking for a full copy of Captain Beefheart's Trout Mask Replica, #60 on the Rolling Stone top 500 album list and acknowledged masterpiece by people who do that sort of acknowledging. Found a remastered CD on Amazon for $204.55, plus $3.99 shipping.

Thinking of starting a GoFundMe to purchase it. Can I count on your support?
May I suggest an equally acclaimed masterpiece, much cheaper, and similar listening enjoyment:

Christmas songs played by power tools

Spekkio

He bowls overhand.
I'm partial toward Alton Brown. Learning why certain ingredients and techniques work was even more useful than the what, and I like that most of his recipes focus on only a few key but fresh ingredients and the technique.

I learned how to do a fade. On myself. And get better results than I get from the NEX.

I'll pay you $204.55 to never play or discuss that music again. My ears...

What a refreshing, and eclectic thread. Really enjoy learning about the diverse interests of so many folks, who normally tell each other how fucked up they are for believing or subscribing to a certain ideology or political thought. Bravo . . . and keep it up.

Finished the interior on my previously race-prep'd 1972 911. Got it out for body and paint work Saturday. Considering building a Olympic platform for my Rogue rack now that the car is off my hands.

I learned how to make a proper Old Fashioned - a cocktail I've always enjoyed, but never made at home. I've also learned that I need a fancier selection of bitters. Any favorites out there beyond the standard issue Angostura?
