I think that video is a Canadian helo (airshow demo) that inadvertently and very suddenly entered vortex ring state*, but I could have it confused with a different video. (?)

*helo aero phenomenom when you get caught in your own downwash... the physics are vaguely similar to Sylvester the cartoon can trying to row his boat up a waterfall

I was at Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) Barking Sands ('86-'89) as a Utility Crewman flying the B200T, RC-12F and seven UH-3As. We had the OLDEST H-3's in the US Navy with the least amount of FLT TIME. In fact we had the first Prototypes delivered to the Navy that were later converted to a Utility models.
