Lol...thats such a good idea (as far as the Maxim for calender squares).

We're new to the squadron so I'm building up rep points as the "cool" wife. Hubby was on duty in the last port and I spent a few hours on the boat hanging out. It helped that when some of the AWs came in and I was reading Playboy. Its for the articles!! I've even had a look at the porn locker.

My wife and I thought boot camp was the toughest separation ever...and then I did a Westpac....:eek: Try hard to get used to this...We are not 9-5 guys.

Porn Locker!?! Man, officers get to have all the fun. Ours had to be hidden in the engineering berthing in case they had a "Health and Comfort Inspection".

I am currently here right now (your husband must be in 19) I'm sure by now you have gotten word about his liberty, etc. I hope now you realize at least a little bit of what the military will be like. My wife and I have not been able to celebrate a single wedding anniversary in 3 years. It sucks, but you take it and move on. We are having our first child in a month, and at this point we both agree that th emilitary is the best thing to happen to our marriage (I was enlisted prior to coming here) you should be good to go for anything after ocs. How do you feel now that you can look back 2 months later?

I feel better lol. It does get easier every single week. He is in class 19. He's in his 7th week.. just 5 more to go! I'm so incredibly proud of him! I don't know that the navy is the best thing to happen to our marriage, but it's a thing that happened. My husband has the opportunity of a lifetime right now.. and I want to support him 110%. It all gets easier as time passes. I am going to see him this weekend.. I leave tomorrow.. I am SO EXCITED. He's going to look handsome in those dress whites for dining out! Thanks for asking, I hope everything goes well with you at OCS.. and I hope all goes well with the baby! What are you having? Congrats on becoming a dad!

Most of it comes from the guys. The intel guy that just left got them a year subscription to Playboy.

And Brett...I'm kidding myself if I don't think hubby isn't looking at porn while being on the boat for a 3 month cruise. I can only imagine a 6 month cruise! Its bad enough...

Hang in there....

Like eveyone has said, he is going through a bit of hell right now. But it soon will be over. I remember one of my classmates got similar letter from his wife and he did many many more pushups. Trust me it will be worth it when it's all over. Btw, we got liberty after the first four weeks, they must have changed liberty rules since I left there.
