Seems more like an insult to our intelligence.
Dude,
This IS the American public we are talking about.

Seems more like an insult to our intelligence.
Actually ... people are stupid. Very stupid.I just hate how the VP race has turned into more of a marketing game...... but people aren't stupid....

McCain is doomed now. He just ended this election.
To preface, I have no idea what I think about this pick.
Would you care to elaborate on your statment?![]()
Exactly. You see, this is exactly why it's a brilliant pick. Folks are talking about the McCain campaign now; excited or not, they're talking.... not "the Progression of Obama and what McCain is doing in response". ...
Really?? Who are you talkin' about?? Obama??....little experience and basically no foreign policy experience....

Am I the only one here who thinks this was a pretty transparent effort to sway voters? Sure, it might grab some of the staunch Hillary voters, but I'd rather pick a leader based on their merits and experience...not their token vagina.
Don't get me wrong. I'm all for women in office, but people aren't stupid. They're going to see what he's doing here. I know some of you mentioned it earlier, but you seem pleased about it. I'm confused by that. Seems more like an insult to our intelligence.

I do think it's an odd choice, given that the Reps main strategy has been attacking Obama on his lack of expereince. She's been on the city council and the major of a city of 5,000? And governor of a tiny state for 2 years?
I know she's the VP and Obama's the head of his ticket so it isn't apples to apples, but it does seem to diminish the Reps' "no experience" argument...
For the latter, a cougar is technically single or acting like it. For the former . . . dude, she's 16.Her daughters are hot and she's not too shabby for a cougar either.
