only thing really messing with me are the damn pull-ups, i can substitute chin-ups but i'd rather do it with pull-ups. so it's me and mr. armstrong and lots of lat pulldowns

do the chinups, ive been in the corps since 1996 and almost no one does actual pull-ups. I am always around 20, but when I start to fall below I will do entire back workouts on the pull-up bar. I do weighted pullups and chin ups useing a back-pack and some plates. I also use the assisted pull-up machine in the gym to do burn outs. you can place the V bar on the pull up bar to do close grips. by the way dont forget chest and bicep work, they are secondary muscle groups in a chin-up.

See i was told that when you get to OCS that they give you a hard time if you do chin ups for your pft instead of pull ups. If it's true that it really doesn't matter i'll ace it with chin-ups...but prolly still work on getting the pull ups up to par.

those navy boys get off easy with the push-ups
