The bottom line is a) enjoy your career, work hard for what you want, and deal with the breaks you get. But b), if your ego is so wrapped up in it in any direction (military aviation, airlines or private sector) that you have to take shots at people who choose otherwise, then you're a douche and an insecure loser. To each their own, and if you want to hear God laugh, tell Him your plans . . .
