Not a recruiter, but the Gomez and Kyle drives are what I used to study for my ASTB (which includes the OAR). Plenty of good material on there for math and physics/mechanical stuff. Here's the links for the Gomez Drive and Kyle Drive. Best of luck!I am graduated at 3.40 GPA (business), 26M, no prior service, highly motivated to be SWO. What is the best MATERIAL to study to ensure i get a good score on the OAR? Thank you

I've got some curiosities.
What percentage of initial contacts actually follow through with selection and go to OCS?
What is the current status of the "recruiting crisis"?
As an officer recruiter, what do you see as the biggest hurdle to getting people in the door at Newport?

Lol glad to hear that. There would be some severe personality mismatch if that did end up happening somehow.
What is your definition of initial contact? That could be just a quick discussion at a career fair when someone just ask simple questions or it could be sitting down with a person and going over what designators are available depending on your definition of "initial contact". If you go with the career fair example I would also go with 10-20%, if we are talking about sitting down in front of me it was from that point it was about 80% or so that went forward with applications and I only had a few that after selection didn't go to OCS.I've got some curiosities.

@zoeth has NRC indicated or said how many of the spots are being filled by ISEL or URL ISPP? Prior to those programs coming online the changes were fairly minor compared to now.I literally watch the Excel board schedule sheet edited in real time and see boards get pushed or outright canceled.
