Just throwing my stats out there:
  • Applied for Active CW, MCWO
  • 24 Male
  • OAR: 47 (first time, might retake for next cycle)
  • 2.8 GPA (Waiver), BS Computer Science (2.52 GPA from CC, 3.6 GPA from University and in the accelerated program so I have some grad classes under my belt; Calc 1 and Physics 1)
  • Currently Serving (6 years SELRES; Seabee)
  • Last 3 Evals (1 EP, 2 P)
  • No prior cyber experience
  • Currently Studying Security+ (won't finish before this cycle)
  • Strong Motivational Statement/Remarks and strong leadership points
My current GPA is weak but my recruiter said I had an upward trend which helps out more than you think. Also accepted into grad school for MS in Comp Sci (Track in Cybersecurity) if that matters. OAR is average but my recruiter said that as long as I pass it (I would like someones opinion on this if it's true or not). Other than that I feel pretty decent with my package.

I tried looking but I couldn't find anything, but do we know how many slots are available for each board or for the FY?

Did your OAR waiver get approved for MCWO? There’s been talks about them not accepting any waivers at this time (confirmed by prior Officer recruiters) and there are no quotas for FY-26. I would get in touch with your recruiter and ask those questions. Don't believe that quota numbers are public info.

Are you prior or current enlisted?

Regardless I would suggest you look into other OCS programs where your GPA aligns better.

Look at post #32 in this thread, the June board has a very limited scope of selections.
