I was going to add my recruiter currently told me your best chance of getting picked up is your first board. He also told me that having a flight background doesn’t help you that much (not sure how true that is). Though when I was researching other branch’s the Air Force actually factors in flight experience with your package I guess.

Flight experience is huge in the AF. It goes into
Your “PCSM” score. It can make a dramatic difference. My unit will pick someone woth flight experience over someone that doesn’t. Wish the Navy took more of that into consideration.

Navy has more of an "officer first" type of approach.
