16 August 03 OCS (Class 04-04)

Hey everyone! My name is Jenn. I am the gf of Paul M, who is also starting OCS tomorrow. I just returned home to CA from P'cola last night. We drove out there together hitting all the hotspots such as vegas and new orleans and I flew home. I wish I could have stayed and extra night and met some of you.
I am so jealous of all you girls who are staying in p'cola. I wish I could be there. I am 22 and just graduated from the University of the Pacific in May as a liberal studies major. Unfortunately I have to continue on to get my elementary teaching credential in CA.
I'm really nervous about the distance. Paul and I have been together for three years now. This is by far the hardest thing we've had to endure.
I really hope to find strength and optimism by using this website.

Hi ladies! My name is Jenn. (There are always at least 2 Jenn's!)My fiance Scott is in the Aug 16th class too. I live here in Pensacola, we moved here in May. I just graduated from University of Florida in August. My last semester, this summer, I interned with MWR on NAS Pensacola. The internship was boring as hell, but I learned a lot about the Navy! And I got to see a lot of OCS classes outside doing their thing. I start grad school next week at University of West Florida here in Pensacola. Other Jenn, I think I met Paul on Friday night. I'm bad with names, but he was from CA. Hope everyone is doing good so far! I'd like to get in the private forum! Talk to you all soon! J

Hi ladies, my name is Nicola, my fiance matt is going though with this class. I was hoping I could also be added to the private forum. I meet a few of the guys on the friday before they started, Jenn you where there, right? I had to leave on saturday morning as I live in Tucson. I have talked to matt a little and he tells me there is going to be the dining out/navy ball around oct 11th? Does anyone know more about this? I'm going to try and make it for that? Hope to talk to you all soon.

Hey 16AUG03 significants, it's been awhile. Class 04-04 is doing great and highly motovated. We've got our 4th week inspect. this Thurs. and feel pretty good about it. Our DI is the best(most of the time). Pray we secure so we can see all of you soon!!

OMG!! I can't believe I didn't find this forum earlier! My BF, Phil is also in Class 04-04 going for SNA :) Please add me too!! And who else is going to the Navy Ball?? I'm flying down from WA state to see Phil then :)
 
Ok, so I got carried away in my excitement!

First and most importantly, don't forget that today is the first RLP inspection for 04-04. Pray for them!! They can use all the support they can get, and I know Phil can feel when I'm thinking of him strongly. I know I feel him :)

Second, I forgot to introduce myself.. My name is Kelly and I live in Seattle, WA. I work as a flight data specialist, dispatching corporate aircraft. The love of my life is currently with your SOs in Class 04-04. Or as Phil puts it 04-HOORAH!!

I can't wait to get to know you all! I'm sure we will all see each other many times in the years to come.

Welcome, nice to have you with us. I have been up since 5AM thinking about the RLP's and can't wait to hear. I have prayed and prayed and I know our so's are probably to the point of exhaustion from working so hard I know John is.

Welcome to 04-04 and Airwarriors! Glad you found us. My name is Anne and my husband is John. let me get my ducks in a row or actually the kids in the bed and I will send you the contact list for all of that are going with their hotel,cell #'s and so info. SO stands for significant other.

We are planning on meeting at Flounders Fri. night and have supper. Unfortunately JOhn has watch from 8-10 so I don't know how long I can stay. I'm thinking maybe 6 for supper. let me know if anyone has a prob. with that. I know it's early, but john has to be back for watch by 7 to change uniforms.

Hey Ladies,

Im a little behind the times. I keep hearing about this site so I thought Id drop in. Im sorry I didnt catch this sooner as I may have a been a help to some of you. My husband and I are actually from Pensacola and we know this area well. If I can answer any questions regarding travel please email me and let me know. Graduation is about a week away. After 6 months of separation it will be nice to have my other half back. It will be great to meet you all in person. Dont be shy once you get here, theres no room for that in the military!
