To add to your post. A good flight is 1.1 or better. Bens gouge has an NSS tracker that I used throughout Primary and modified it for RIs. I liked it because it gave me an idea of how I was doing.

Thats debatable, I would say with preference. If you have your IFR rating than you don't have to do a couple blocks of sims (which is good), however those blocks are pretty easy and its a good way to make money on your NSS before the later RI flights bring it down. Just my preference I liked...

Thats pretty funny. Quite possible the best benefit to BDCP besides years towards retirement is that it counts as years towards pay. Getting paid as an O1>3 is pretty nice considering that a $500 bump in pay a month.

Apparently they are going to be overlapping old E2C2 pipeline and tailhook pipeline for the first year. After that it is going to be straight tailhook. Oh, our class is taking care of that little gouge issue ;)
