It can happen. Doesnt mean that it will. Some have been successful doing it while others have not. If you go through with this and don't get approved for the change, will you be happy being a Marine officer doing some other job?
The NRA hosts some pretty good ones. I reccommend any fan of shooting tries one at least once in their life. They're fun and you can learn a thing or two
So why does someone need to get jumped on for having good personal physical fitness standards? Every should definately meet the minimums but if you want to go above and beyond thats your thing.
Seriously. Its a kick to the nuts. I cant wait to get through this knee surgery to be able to do this trash again. I hope I didnt offend anyone by sounding too motivated there. :icon_smil
Maybe I'm out of my lane here, but that would just unmotivate the hell out of me to follow someone like that. I'm sure he meant it in good humor but the end of that would make me wonder. I would much more be respectful of a guy who says something like "Hey gentlemen, I realize i'm fat looking...
Right NAMI sits on top of all that when it comes down to it. The last 2 years I have signed a sheet asking me about if I have remained in good health or received any injuries since my last exam. The only medical thing I've done since then was my inprocessing stuff at TBS that everyone did.
There is a guy in my TBS company from Brazil. If you run into trouble I'm sure I could ask him a question for you since he's been through it. You should be fine though. Just do what you have to do.
If you werent drunk in that post I suggest you edit it.
And if you have not contracted then you dont have a slot. Thats like getting hired for a job that you havent applied for. Although that actually has a better chance of happening.
For some reason that didnt fly with me. I think they were canging over the system or something. I just went into the OSO office and typed everything in the system. I just read it off my sheet that I had so it was pretty effortless
ONe day down the road. They're still contracting NFOs. Flight physical is basically a more extensive medical day than MEPS was. Nothing too crazy. Search around for flight physical. IT wont take all 4 days. ITs mainly for overflow. IF something didnt get done, or if they had to redo a...

Well theres some info on it. The guy who posted this was an OSO at the time of posting that so take that for what its worth. Basically saying that reserve unit has control of if you deploy or not and doesnt have to honor the...
Is there a difference between ensliting in the reserves and then one day down the road deciding to do PLC compared to doing the PLC-reserves thing right out of highschool (as in signing up for PLC before you go to recruit training)? I remember one guy who graduated HS and then talked to the OSO...
Hey it sucks for everyone. Some people get nasty heat, some get nasty cold, some get ran into the ground, some dont sleep....
If you made it through good on you. If you're about to go, it will suck in one way or another for you.
Give it a shot. But get a move on because it sounds like you dont have much time left. Also, your recruiter needs to write you a letter stating a few pieces of info and including your commission date. Before this thread turns into a USAA loan thread...
I went to Marine Corps OCS so it may be different but I think they all pay you the same. I signed up for direct deposit. We got paid twice a month as we should have. Problem was, direct deposit never kicked in. So I received hard checks every two weeks. This made it a pain in the ass...
Can you file for an extension for your taxes online? I did this a few years back when I was waiting on info from a previous employer. I ended up finishing up everything and getting it all turned in about 2 months after tax day once I got all my info back. But I think I would have had up to 6...
Token stupid question of the thread:
On MOL when it shows all the awards you rate, do you have to update that when you get new ones, or does that get done automatically? This really doesnt apply to me at this point in time as I only have my Natty D...but a few of my TBS room mates were...
