I don't even think we fly E-6A anymore, I thought it was all E-6B now. Sure those numbers are accurate? The Rhino count seems really low. That wouldn't even support a RAG and a full squadron.

    Crosseyed -fly?

Driving is very much depth perception. This is why women are statistically worse parkers. There was a study done where they tested the parking ability of women and men... women always did worse. Why? They discovered their depth perception, on average, is not as good. I can't make this stuff up...

    Concealed Carry Permit

Of course, who doesn't? I also know people who shouldn't own a car, or have a kid, or whatnot. Every state I've applied in or looked at applying in requires a background check, etc etc. Why does that scare you? In VT, there is no requirement to have any kind of license to carry. They don't...

    Concealed Carry Permit

True, I won't dispute that. I was clearly saying it's none of yours, mine, or anyone's business why he wants to carry. The military doesn't need to know you have a carry permit or that you carry, none of their business either. I know I'm a young officer with no real Navy experience, but...

That's his business with the state. Hell, it's a shall-issue state, so that's not even the state's business really. He need not qualify it to anyone here. I understand you asking it, and everyone who carries or wants to carry should know why, even if it's something as simple as "general...

    Kneeboards For New PCL's

Our checklist is always out, the TW-1 approved condensed checklist that's on our kneeboards. You always check it quickly before takeoff to make sure you didn't miss an item. As far as engine fire on start, that is completely 100% a memory item checklist, per NATOPS. We don't change the normal...

    Airsickness problems

Easy way to tell is the engine cowling. If it is long, skinny, and has exhaust stacks horizontal, it is a T-34C. If it is more blunt and the exaust pipes are on the bottom, it is a T-34B or T-34A.

Before that actually. subLOGIC released Flight Simulator 1 for the Apple II in 1979. In 1982, a version was made for the IBM PC licensed to Microsoft, called Flight Simulator 1.01. I started with Flight Simulator 4.0, which was made in 1989. I loved that program, its polygon graphics...

    [GUN] 357 or 45?

Well that has more to do with grip design. The revolver grip is really meant to rotate if you look at it. What really gets cooky is when you notice different types of recoil, like snap, shove, push, TWIST (Why do Berettas seem to twist, it's so odd).

    Higher Moral Standard?

Held to a high standard? Absolutely. You represent the United States 24/7. Not only that, but you are responsible for and to those you are in charge of. No one is morally or ethically perfect, nor can they be, it's not possible. But a military officer should be held to a high standard of morals...

    Airsickness problems

    A) T-34C engine exhaust stacks put the exhaust directly in your cockpit with cockpit open. B) T-34C has ECS C) Check your NATOPS T-34C guys, but I believe there was no restriction on canopy open flying, so long as you had your O2 mask on and operating.
  41. Fly Navy

    [GUN] 357 or 45?

Actually you have that backwards. A semi-auto action will almost always have less felt recoil than an equal weighted non-semi-auto action, because the recoil action helps buffer the recoil. Shoot a bolt-action and a semi-auto rifle of same weight and caliber for proof. The difference can be...

    [GUN] 357 or 45?

Nope, very different. Metro covered most of it already. The .45 you usually hear about, especially dealing with 1911s, is the .45ACP, where ACP = Automatic Colt Pistol. It is a cartridge designed for semi-automatic and automatic firearms, i.e. it is rimless. There are revolvers chambered for...

    Kneeboards For New PCL's

Yep, in T-45 land, we don't touch the PCL unless it is an emergency, and even then if you can get someone else to read it to you (base, wingman, etc), all the better. Our standard checklists are pretty much done by memory because speed (and accuracy) is the name of the game. The "gouge"...
