I found out I got pro rec'd on September 25th. It is now October 16th and still no word. Anybody rememeber how long it took to get a final select?

..and honestly, did anybody ever figure out that game Jaws? I played it when I was a kid too and I swear it goes nowhere. Every time I play it, I swim around for 8 hours, shoot Jaws 2309 times in the face with the pea shooter, and the game goes nowhere. Has anybody ever actually beaten this?

Your ASTB scores are definitely good enough to go officer too. I got just about the same scores and right now I'm sitting around waiting for final select.

There is a glitch on the controls in this thing. You can't hold down one button and hit the other. You can only do one at a time. This screws up the long jumps in Mario big time.

Has anybody on here ever actually beaten Tyson without cheating? I haven't even been able to beat him even with cheating (playing it on the computer and saving it every once in a while...then going back to the saved point after getting knocked out). Tyson wails me in the face once and Mac goes...

Every other day I do the card deck exercise for pushups. I flip them over one by one and do the same number of pushups as the card's value until I finish the deck. Every time I do it I work up a sweat and put in a lot of effort. Yet, my pushups are still maxing out in the mid 50s for the PRT...

If I get final select (fingers crossed), I will be 22 when I head to OCS. Right now my gameplan is to do my training, 8 years of service, and then move on to the civilian world. I'd love to fly for an airline after the Navy if I end up flying planes while in the service.

On a related note, myopia is brutal for night vision. My right eye is allegedly pretty good (20/25 -1.00), yet I can't see squat at night.
