There are other schools that you can do STA-21 at. 2 guys I knew from the HTs did it at University of South Florida or something like that. Even at the Citadel, the STA-21 deal blows the doors off being a Midshipman at the boat school.

As others have said, you're young and your metabolism will slow. I went from 130 to 165 in college and gained about 2-3 inches of height. My advice: Lift heavy and eat like a horse (but dont get fat....i.e. eat lots of healthy meats and veggies).

An hour in a T-6 is more like $1000 by the time you pay for maintenance and buy tires. IFS is a decent program for getting rid of people who've never flown and find out they don't really want to. We still lost 4/13 in my primary class though.
