Update Well, picked up my orders yesterday, I can't believe it's happened but I'm finally heading to Quantico this Saturday with a pilot slot. I guess everything happens for a reason after all. Wish me luck, it's gonna be cold. :icon_smil

HEY! The current deal is a badass $40 headlamp for $20! Everyone says to bring a headlamp to OCS for working at night, but they say it has to run on two AA batteries or less. This one works on three AAA batteries. Does anyone know if this is acceptable?

Goob, Have you heard then that the board did meet yesterday? Since everyone has said they usually post the results that afternoon or first thing the next morning I'm starting to think maybe redbeard was right and they decided to push it back to after the holiday week.

Just spoke with my recruiter, he said as of last night the results hadn't been posted but he's out of the office today so he couldn't say if they were up yet. I didn't ask specifically but I assumed that meant they did indeed meet.

I would have to say no. If you are selected you still to have the background check done and medical completed and submitted to the processor for review before you are assigned a date. I think the quickest I've seen it done on here was 3-4 week turnaround after selection.

The pic I saw looked like it would be the long sleeve khaki shirt, it looks just like the Marine's service dress uniform. So, can you just wear the greens when the uniform of the day is SDB's? Or is it based on your command? When would wearing them be appropriate?
