I've been there. Not flown into, but driven around up in that area during the summer (I would have much rather been there in the winter). That place is crazy - I'd love to fly there! I'm going to run the numbers through PFPS, I just wonder if a P-3 could land there... :)

Flying a 152 would be worth doing a tour in Alaska. Anchorage is a good town. Southcentral Alaska rocks. And, much to my surprise when I was last there, there are LOTS of hot chicks - mostly Russian, but that's OK.

If I had to do it all over again, I'd go E6B without question. Every guy I've run into who flew those loves it and loves the community. You'll get more time in the E6B and you'll have a useful type rating (two, actually). VP is very SWO-like.

Finally saw it! FRICKIN' AWESOME! My wife even liked it. gotta say, the female lead was lame. Quite a few plot issues, but no biggie, still a lot of fun. The blonde chick was by far hotter than the brunette.
