I did some IT consulting for about 2 years outta college before going into the Marines. Can't say I really knew what the hell I was doing, but it was a job. However, I got tired of the "Office Space" aspect of that environment...

After further reflection, it wasn't that bad a life after all... Maybe I could go back. Surely, an employer will look favorably on 400+ NVG hours. I hear that's big in the interviews with the Fortune 500 guys. :icon_smil

I'm trying to get in to the club, but right now I'm a sailing pro in the summertime and a minor pro ice hockey referee in the wintertime. I also dabble in theatre designing lighting and sound on the side.

I sold Cellphones while I attended the Police Academy, then I just sold cell phones waiting to get on with the Navy. The whole police academy thing was a backup to the backup.

Police claim to fame? I managed to talk my way into being admitted to the police academy with 13 speeding tickets on my record. And I'm not talking just 1 or 2 over either!

In college, I was a waiter for Olive Garden, delivered pizza, and a server in a sorority.

Worked at a Navy shipyard building MHC class ships. Got laid off and then enlisted shortly there after. While enlisted I got my degree at night school and on the weekends. I decided to get out and trying to go Secret Service. At the same time I dropped my OCS package. Got accepted for pilot and decided to stay in.
