Another problem is that base armories are going away. Little Creek got rid of their base one and each unit had to make arrangements to store its own weapons. I was at TACRON while we were working out all the solutions. Ended up getting our own armory but had to beg for space from RIVGRU for a while.

TACRON is also a SM DH slot now. So, you get sea pay, no flying, and work consists of standing a watch and submitting ATO inputs for the Marines on an amphib. Now that is a good deal. And yes, the sarcasm is intended.

Hey, the Avalanche gets 18mpg on the highway (used to get 20 before I moved to VA and got stuck with crappy E10 gas) and the Corvette gets 20mpg (Quadrajet and overdrive). Looking at an LS swap for the Corvette so I should be able to get 25+. :)
