They measured me sitting down. They look at the length of your body, upper leg, lower leg, arms. I believe that is it. I am not sure what the standards are. I am 6'1" and my heigth is all in my legs so if that helps diminish you fears I made it.

I submitted mid nov. and heard back mid dec. I would press your recruiter a little harder. Also he has people above him if he does not give you what you want to know. Don't be rude about but let him know that you are concerned.

I like to think of it this way. It's not the flying that is Dangerous it is the landing that will get you.

In the Army the warent officers pilots just fly. I think that is all they do. You will never be in charge of a division or do the things that flag officers do. Lunchins with Generals and stuff. So the fun of flying without all of the fuss or hoops of being a officer. I think. Hudson

The Army can not and will not guarntee aviation as a regular officer. They send you to BAsic training and then you go to OCS and while you are there they decide what your specialty is. If you want to go aviation try going warrent officer. That is what most of the pilots are anyways.

Try and stump your recruter and find the mistake on test two. One of the pictures does not corespond with any of the choices. I won't tell any more than that. Good luck
