oh and correct me if i'm wrong but i was under the impression that aviation slots are based on the fiscal year, and typically the beginning of the fiscal year will host the majority of available pilot slots...and the apr board is the start to the new fiscal year....?

Well after finding out my flight physical, my app, my epsq, and everything else expired from my first go around i had a mere 2 + or - weeks to get another one together, and with a lot of trips between balboa, miramar, and nasni, i'm finally finished w/ my flight physical and everything else...

    OCS Contract

dave i'm having a hard time interpreting your second ?, you may want to rephrase that so its a little clearer. As far as your first question, yes, you can apply for both air and ground, you can apply for pilot, nfo, and ground all for the same board.....usually looks pretty good when you do...

    Air Slot Question

My OSO immediately asked me what i was going for i told her SNA she kind of gave me grief b/c if i want to be a Marine i should want to be a Marine no matter if its ground, nfo, or sna.....everytime i suggest that i'm really pushing for SNA she makes me feel as though i don't want to be a Marine...

I've been hearing a lot about these from various people, how prevelant are stress fractures and shin splints in OCC. Do they hit most ppl, pretty much hit or miss, etc. Is training prior to leaving for OCC and doing LOTS of stretching pretty much the best way to prevent it, along w/ good...
