I don't know what all the fuss is over lack of sports on TV. I am seeing plenty of NFL, MLB and college games on the tube. AND, I am raking in the dough betting on the outcome!

Not so long ago AFN was showing reruns of games from years ago. Normally not my thing, but there’s something (at least to a hardcore Phils fan) about watching Pete Rose and Mike Schmidt hit some real dingers.

Ha, as a Yankees fan, it was fun watching Bucky Dent's shot heard round the world.

Leather patches "round three" for the father of a bud who flew Wildcats from MAKIN ISLAND (CVE-93) in WWII; Corsairs from PRINCETON (CV-37) in Korea, and went on to command a Reserve Crusader squadron in the 1960s. Alas, we were unable to verify a patch design for the VC-84 time on MAKIN ISLAND:

As an Indians fan it's been a joy watching the Tribe lose 2 world series in extra innings in game 7.

You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means. ??

Kale, once a throw away plate garnish, now people invest their time and sweat growing it at home...to eat? That is first class marketing.
No different than other greens like collard, mustard, chard. It's also much hardier and productive in the garden than other greens.
